About the Role: Mortgage Specialist
EZ Mortgage is seeking a motivated, client-focused Mortgage Specialist who is ready to make a real impact in the lives of homebuyers. This is more than a sales role — it's an opportunity to educate, guide, and support clients as they work toward homeownership.
As a Mortgage Specialist, you will:
- Consult with clients to understand their financial goals and homeownership dreams
- Recommend loan products that best fit their needs
- Help gather documentation and structure strong, complete loan packages
- Collaborate closely with underwriting to ensure a smooth and efficient loan process
We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values strong relationships, and takes pride in delivering an exceptional customer experience.
What You'll Do
- Meet with clients to assess their needs and recommend loan solutions aligned with their goals
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of all loan products and qualification guidelines
- Structure loans that meet both client objectives and company lending standards
- Proactively review and manage active loan files to prevent delays and improve efficiency
- Use sound professional judgment to identify strong lending opportunities
What We're Looking For
- Experience in the consumer lending or mortgage industry is a plus
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent customer service mindset
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Analytical thinking and comfort working with numbers
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and desire to succeed
