    Whether you are completing your education or contemplating a career change, Fidelity's Securities Industry Essentials® (SIE®) Scholar program offers you the chance to delve deeper into the industry and the atmosphere at Fidelity, all while getting ready to take the SIE® Exam, the initial step in obtaining your Series 7 and aiding clients in reaching their financial objectives & aspirations. The SIE® is a beginner-level exam that covers essential investment principles for working in the industry, such as types of basic financial products, risk correlation, and regulatory standards.

    Our SIE® Scholar initiative enables you to explore entering the financial services sector and kickstarting your career in the industry, with the support of a network of Fidelity leaders and knowledgeable mentors.

    As a Fidelity SIE® Scholar, you will have the opportunity to prepare for and take the SIE® exam as we invest in you

    • Fidelity covers the cost of study materials and exam fees for you to sit for the Securities Industry Essentials® Exam.
    • You will engage with a nationwide community of peers also enrolled in the program. You will have chances to connect virtually through orientation sessions, software overview, weekly support via office hours, as well as live coaching and career advice.
    • Throughout the program, you will have the chance to explore career possibilities at Fidelity, hear directly from team members and leaders, and experience the company culture from the inside.
    • Upon successful completion of the program, our experienced recruiters will collaborate with you on applying for our full-time Customer Relationship Advocate and Financial Representative positions, where you can obtain the Series 7 certification and other licenses.

    Fidelity's working model blends the advantages of remote work with maximizing in-person interactions to cater to the needs of associates and the business. Currently, most hybrid roles necessitate associates to work on-site every business day of one assigned week every four-week period (starting in September 2024, this requirement will shift to two full assigned weeks).
