    • This position is hybrid with Tuesday-Thursday being onsite in Plymouth Meeting, PA.
    • Work hours are 8 AM-5 PM.

    Overview

    Our client is in need of a Real-Time Business & Systems Analyst V to offer technical and leadership expertise for IT Systems supporting the Electric Distribution Business. Responsibilities involve working with Real Time SCADA systems and non-Real Time systems across various operating systems and platforms. Collaboration with business operations, technology teams, and software vendors is crucial for the design, build, and testing phases of projects like EMS, SCADA, DMS/ADMS, DA, OMS, TOA, PI Historian, GIS. The role entails maintaining a deep understanding of technology in Electric Distribution, conducting database maintenance, display build, and point-to-point testing of distribution and substation devices. Additionally, participation in technological innovation to drive new business opportunities and solve complex problems is essential.

    Required Skills & Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, electric engineering, or related discipline and typically 5 to 8 years' experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
    • Broad technical expertise with deep technical knowledge in at least one area: Strong knowledge of the Electric Distribution System, Substations and Micro Grids, and the technology associated with that industry.
    • Excellent communications skills - Able to effectively communicate highly technical information in nontechnical terminology (written and verbal).
    • Understanding of change management principles associated with innovative technology implementations.
    • Demonstrated leadership ability.

    Preferred Skills & Experience

    • Technical certification in Technical Area of Specialty Demonstrated ability to implement process enhancements and efficiencies including technology and performance.
    • Knowledge of the Utilities Business, including the regulations associated with it.
    • Knowledge of the Electric Utilities Industry, particularly Substations Operations process control technology including RTU's, PLC's and communication/control protocols.
    • Experience working with High-Availability SCADA control applications.
