UCan do all this and more at UCLA Health.You will perform basic and complex MR imaging procedures as well as post-processing responsibilities. This will require an in-depth understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology and medical terminology. You will be required to maintain a high degree of accuracy in patient positioning and image acquisition/formation.
You will also need to apply your knowledge of magnetic field safety and properly screen all patients and visitors prior to admittance into the MR magnet room.
You will:
Ensure accurate processing of radiology orders
Maintain accurate up-to-date records of procedures performed
Operate a variety of post-processing/3D workstations
Perform accurate image archival
Prepare and administer paramagnetic contrast media
Sensitively handle physical and emotional needs of the patient
