    Deputy is looking for an experienced Pricing and Monetization Director to join our Operations and Growth Strategy Team (OGT) at Deputy.

    Reporting directly to the Vice President, this role will play a pivotal part in driving revenue growth through the development of pricing strategies, competitive analyses, and market research for new and existing products, customers and markets.

    To be successful in this role, collaboration is essential, as well as an inclination of progress over perfection - balancing short term actions with long term strategy.

    Adjust strategies in response to market changes and business performance.
    Cross-functional

    Strategy Integration:

    Collaborate with Product, Revenue, Customer and Finance teams to ensure pricing strategies are effectively incorporated into product offerings, promotional campaigns, and overall business planning.


    Packaging:

    Evaluate and refine packaging to align with customer needs and market demands, across the regions in which we operate and across each segment.


    Market and Competitive Analysis:
    Conduct market research and competitive analysis to monitor pricing trends, understand competitor strategies, and identify opportunities for differentiation.

    Data Analysis and Forecasting:

    Utilize analytical tools to interpret complex data, forecast the impact of pricing decisions on revenue and market share, and perform scenario analysis to inform strategic decisions.


    Performance Management:

    Track and analyze the performance of pricing strategies against key metrics, identify areas of improvement and reporting on insights and outcomes to senior management.

    Implementation and Governance Responsibilities

    Cross-functional Collaboration for Implementation: Work closely with relevant departments to ensure smooth implementation of pricing strategies, providing support and guidance on pricing-related issues.


    Pricing Governance:

    Maintain robust pricing governance and guidelines to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and alignment with business objectives.

    Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or related field. A MBA, MBS or related advanced degree is preferred but not required

    A minimum of 7 years of experience in pricing, finance, business analysis, or related field, with a proven track record in developing and implementing successful pricing strategies.

    Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
    Deep understanding of market research, pricing analysis tools, and methodologies.
    Experience with financial modelling and forecasting.
    Ability to lead cross-functional projects and initiatives.
    High level of proficiency in Excel, statistical analysis software, and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Thoughtspot)
    Familiarity with Salesforce, CPQ tools and other tools

    The pay range for this position takes into account multiple factors that are all considered to determine an individual candidate's starting pay.

    This range does not include any potential incentive programs, such as individual or organizational performance bonuses.
