- Measures cut and assemble door and sidelight frames; needs to assemble their own jam kits and builds the entire door units with sidelights; wrap the doors for packaging and place shipping labels on the units
- Read production tickets; strong product knowledge including doors, components and slabs; Read tape measure to 1/32" inch.
- Pneumatic equipment (Nail Gun, Screw Gun, Router), Tape Measure; efficiently operate common hand tools; cock-gun; square, door styles. Read angle finder and square.
- Minimum of High School Diploma (2-4) years' experience – Associate Degree
- Strong product knowledge including doors, components and slabs;
- Ability to establish and maintain a neat organized work environment.
- Good communications skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to solve shop problems using addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, squares, and square roots.
- Ability to read tape measure to 1/32"
- Knowledge of Pneumatic equipment (sander, stapler, screw gun, circular saw, drills)
- Must possess extreme attention to detail
- Knowledge of safety and security measures when utilizing equipment and materials.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bending, twisting, stooping, pushing
