- Document mailing, scanning, and copying.
- Retrieving and responding to internal firm requests via phone or email.
- Learning basic legal documents and terminology.
- Ensuring timely, courteous, and thorough responses to email correspondence.
- Providing exceptional customer service to internal clients at every level of interaction.
- Maintaining strict confidentiality of client and borrower information and firm processes.
- Distributing incoming mail around the office.
- Performing other duties and responsibilities as needed.
- Ability to carry 10 pounds or more
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have proficiency in MS Office suite.
- Must be committed to providing exceptional customer service.
- Must be able to work with others in a congenial and team-oriented manner.
- Must be self motivated.
- Must possess exceptional organizational skills; the position requires the ability to multi-task and be adaptable to continual change.
- Must have excellent attention to detail.
- High school degree required.
- College degree strongly preferred.
- Must have recently graduated from college or have 2-3 years of relevant experience.

Job DescriptionSUMMARY:
This position is focused on mailroom responsibilities and primarily involves preparing and sending a high volume of mail but may also include handling certain tasks associated with calls, legal documents, and other correspondence. In this position you will need to possess the willingness to work well in a team environment as well as the ability to work independently at times. No legal experience necessary. This position will be based in the law firm's mailroom and each workday ends at 6pm.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time as well as walk around the office carrying mail and office supplies.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Normal office working conditions. The noise level in the work environment is quiet to moderate. This is a full-time position Monday through Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm.
