CrossCountry Freight Solutions is hiring an Operations Supervisor. We are looking for a qualified applicant who will supervisor drivers and freight handlers, oversee the loading and unloading of freight, and ensure company policies/procedures are being implemented.

Shift: Monday-Friday (2:00AM start) - hours may vary based on operational need

Pay: $65,000 - $75,000/year - Depends on Experience, Knowledge of the Transportation Industry

What you can expect a typical day to look like:

Supervise drivers, oversee the hiring, training, scheduling, and disciplinary actions
Conducts weekly and/or daily meetings with shift personnel to discuss updates and address any issues
Coordinate with personnel to maintain and repair company vehicles
Work with customers to resolve freight issues
Able to carry out the job duties of driver positions supervised to ensure customer service expectations are met

What you will need to succeed on the job:

Two years supervisory and transportation experience required
Excellent interpersonal, organization, logistics, math, and communication skills
Knowledge of DOT and OSHA regulations
Valid Class A CDL - preferred not required
At least 21 years of age
1 year of commercial driving experience
No DUI's or DWI's (in the past 3 years)
No more than 3 traffic violations (in past 3 years)
Must have Hazmat or be willing to obtain
