    Locum Tenens Interventional Radiologist Opportunity

    We are seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist to provide locum tenens coverage in a hospital-based setting near Seattle, WA. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a supportive team in a dynamic environment.

    Position Highlights:

    • Duration: January 1, 2025 - February 28, 2025
    • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with on-call responsibilities during the week and 24-hour call on weekends
    • Volume: 811 cases per day, focusing on paracentesis, thoracentesis, and biopsies

    Facility Details:

    • Facility Type: Level 3 Trauma Center with an annual emergency room volume of 55,000

    Collaborative Team:

    • Collaborate with 2 on-site interventional radiologists and a larger system-wide team of 25+ professionals

    Requirements:

    • Board Certification in Interventional Radiology (AOBR or ABR)
    • Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology (IR) is highly preferred
    • Active Washington State medical license
    • ACLS certification
    • Clean background for expedited credentialing

    Key Skills & Procedures:

    • Diagnostic imaging: Angiography, CT, and Ultrasound
    • Interventional procedures: Angioplasty, stent placement, chemoembolization, embolization, aortic aneurysm endograft stent, needle biopsy, thrombolysis, and kyphoplasty

    Practice Information:

    • EMR: EPIC for hospital documentation; Philips ISite platform for teleradiology
    • Patient population: Adults, including geriatric and adolescent patients
