- Knowledgeably operating the fabrication equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Operates a variety of CNC machines.
- Lay out or details layout on work stock from blueprints or templates to determine dimensions, tolerances, cutting/forming speed &feed rate, and correct position of table stops and guides.
- Performs machine set up and loads in & out proper tooling.
- Assembles, installs and aligns machine tooling according to specifications.
- Positions work piece in proper location against fixture or stops on machine bed or on die.
- Starts machine and observes operation to detect misalignment or malfunction.
- Sets stops on machine bed and perform regular calibration as necessary.
- Verifies dimensions of work piece and completes inspection documentation.
- Performs operator Preventative Maintenance as prescribed.
- Maintains housekeeping in area support 5S.
- Unload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting device attached to hoist.
- Load or unload materials onto or off of pallets, skids or lifting device by hand as needed.
- Load parts manually from racks, tubs, and/or bins in warehouse to trays or racks kit carts.
- Loads and unloads parts manually from paint line.
- Maintains safety checks on equipment.
- Use electronic scanner to track material as needed.

- The ability to communicate with supervisors and fellow workers in both written and verbal forms at a level normally acquired through the completion of high school or equivalent is required.
- Job specific skills, techniques and safe work and equipment operating practices are learned through on-the-job and classroom training.
- Must possess the ability to read build sheets and blueprints.
- Ability to understand general instructions that are given on recurring duties, operations or assignments; detailed instructions are given on new duties, operations or assignments.
- Fabricator: Experience operating fabrication equipment a plus.
- Material Handler: The ability to operate a Forklift is required. Forklift on the job training is provided by the Company. No prior experience is required.

Schedule: Litchfield Operations Weekend shift runs Friday - Sunday, 12 hour days 6:00AM - 6:30PM. **Work 36 hours and receive compensation for 40 working hours**
Role & Responsibility
Fabricator: Knowledgeable and capable of operating fabrication machines that may include Break, Plasma, Punch Press, Saw, Shear Operations, laser and folding machine. Operates power brake to bend, notch, punch, form rolls, arc or straighten metal plates or sheet metal to blueprint or sketch specifications. Sets up and operates thermal cutting machines which cut metal plates and structural shapes to dimensions, contour, and bevel specified by blueprints, layout, work orders, and templates. Sets up and operates power press to trim, punch, shape, notch, draw or crimp metal components according to specifications. Sets up and operates mechanical saw to cut straight patterns in metal stock according to specifications, utilizing knowledge of sawing techniques. Sets up and operates power shear to cut metal objects to specified dimensions and angles.
Material Handler: A Material Handler will transfer material manually by hand, or utilizing a manual pallet jacket or using a lifting device attached to a hoist.
Job Requirement
Must be able to follow established methods and procedures and perform work accordingly. Must have the ability to work rapidly and under time pressure for extended periods of time.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is performed in a shop environment. Conditions include proximity to moving
mechanical parts, exposure to high noise levels requiring the use of hearing
protection, exposure to vibration through the use of tools and equipment and
slippery and sloping surfaces and uneven terrain. Subject to air and skin exposures to chemical
hazards and atmospheric conditions that may affect the respiratory system such
as fumes, odors, dusts, mists and gases.
Required to wear personal protective equipment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The overall level of work is defined as medium duty. Employees are expected to exert 21 to 50
pounds of force occasionally, and/or 11 to 20 pounds of force frequently,
and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
