ELECTRICAL ASSEMBLER - Machine PANEL WIRER

Pay rate: $27-29/hour
Overview: Seeking candidate with experience in wiring of control panels.
Must be experienced in wiring into the cabinets installing pumps and other items into the cabinets. Must know how to wire components in the cabinets of the machines*Must be familiar with machine wiring, NOT panel building

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS:Squares, aligns and mounts machine control cabinets/panels to equipment.
Wires all machine electrical components to panel.
Drills and taps holes in specified locations for mounting control units, mounts proxies, sensors, and light curtains on machine.
Attach breakers, relays, contactors, bus bars, transformers, insulators, switches, etc.
Install motors and electrical devices, fuse blocks to mounting holes with bolts and screws.
Mounts junction boxes, conduit, pipe, cable tray, and tubing used to connect circuits and subassemblies.
Must be familiar with wire color, ratings, and routing.
Solder connections and crimp connectors to wire ends.
Discusses errors in diagrams or production order with manager or engineer to clarify assembly problems.
Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, one-lines, panel layouts schematics, etc.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCEPrior experience as a machine wirer/panel builderAbility to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, one-lines, panel layouts schematics, etc.
Basic hand and power tool experienceHigh school diploma or equivalent

Work Hours: 7am - 3:30pm, Monday through Friday with some overtime. Avg hours a week.

Terms:
90 day contract w/ chance of direct-hire based on performance & attendance
