Drives Class A truck delivering materials to customer shops and job sites performing duties such as driving truck to destination providing accurate timely courteous service collecting signature for goods delivered maintaining driver logbook ELD device trip reports fuel tickets toll tickets vehicle condition reports.
- Operates truck following all safety policies laws maintains safe driving record notifies supervisor of any violations.
- Serves load using runners boards ratchet straps chains binders around items secure cargo during transit ensures proper load stability balance assists in loading trucks as needed recommends optimal delivery route assures quick delivery timely service customers observes company safety practices procedure presents professional image appearance behavior customers vendors coworkers accurately verifies items quantities during delivery reports documents delivery variances.
