    Description
    Hospitalist Nocturnist Position Available in Killington, Vermont
    • We are currently seeking a full-time Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Hospitalist to become part of our team of fifteen.
    Our hospitalists collaborate closely with various departments, including consulting services, a physician-run closed ICU, and a range of support services such as diagnostic imaging, pharmacy, and lab work. We maintain a strong partnership with our nursing staff, who have been awarded a three-time magnet designation for our hospital.

    Our daily team comprises four rounding physicians, two daytime admitting providers (1 physician and 1 APP), and one Nocturnist.

    Our Nocturnists work 11 shifts in 28 days, with 2 weeks of vacation, totaling 132 shifts per year. We follow a 10-hour shift schedule from 9:00 pm to 7:00 am, with no ICU or bedside procedure responsibilities.

    On average, our rounding teams handle a daily census of 12-14 patients, with an average of 13 daily admissions spread among the 3 admitting providers.

    We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including a signing bonus, relocation stipend, and educational loan repayment.
