    Job Description

    We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Lead, Software Engineering to join our rapidly expanding team. In this role, you will be accountable for steering the Architecture & Design, integration, and delivery management of our Address Management System. This position demands a passion for learning, problem-solving, and the capability to lead a team in implementing architectures and solutions. You will also apply agile/scrum principles to automate and expedite the adoption of technologies, services, and upgrades.

    As an IT Technical Lead, Software Engineering, your duties and responsibilities will include:

    • Analyze customer needs and business goalsto design effective technical solutions
    • Manage technical delivery and integrationthroughout the project lifecycle
    • Perform system analysis, requirements analysis, and functional analysisto gather and translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications
    • Develop and document problem-solving approachesto address complex technical challenges
    • Ensure code qualityby establishing and maintaining coding standards and guidelines
    • Provide ongoing support for day-to-day business operations.
    • Collaborate with business partners and peersto identify and implement user experience improvements
    • Coordinate and drive project deliveryacross IT and business teams in a multi-vendor environment using Agile/Scrum SDLC methodologies
    • Participate in all phases of the SDLC,including troubleshooting,debugging,verification and testing,production monitoring,and performance analysis
    • Adopt Agile, DevOps, and other enablersto enhance project delivery efficiency.
    • Conduct regular project reviewsto assess progress,identify risks,and address issues with executives
    • Contribute industry knowledge, experience, and best practicesto keep the technology stack cutting-edge and maintain a competitive advantage
    Qualifications

    WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:

    • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related fieldwith at least 5 years of hands-on industry experience in the following areas:
      • Agile/Scrum methodology
      • APIs development
      • Building complex data relationships in high-performance,scalable database environments
      • Experience with Postgres,Kafka,Kubernetes,App Engine,Apigee,React
    • Experience in one of the cloud technologies - GCP, Azure, AWS
    • Experience in working requirements and design with at least one of the Analytics platforms - BigQuery/Looker, Tableau, Power BI
    • Ability to work in a collaborative team environmentand actively participate in discussions on best practices,user experience,functional requirements,and team dynamics.
    • Proven experience leading software development lifecyclesfrom concept to design,prototyping,integration,testing,and production release.
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillswith the ability to prioritize key business programs through collaboration with business partners.

    BONUS POINTS FOR:

    • Background in telecommunication and/or network design
    • Knowledge of Google Maps API, Bing Maps API, SMARTY web services
    • Experience driving the development of features on a complex business-critical project related to large-scale address data acquisitionand validation
