    Production Manager


    HOURS:
    FT, including evenings, weekends & holidays per show schedule

    The Production Manager will be part of the Production department of Broadway San Francisco, reporting to the Director of Production.

    They will work with our backstage crew and other internal teams to budget, plan and realize all the production aspects of events at the Orpheum Theater, Golden Gate Theater, and Curran Theater and be a part of Broadway San Francisco's full-time team to ensure the successful presentation of events and the smooth operation of BSF theaters.

    The Production Manager will:

    Support the management of the stage crew, estimate labor and material costs, technical coordination, advance details with touring companies, promoters, and rental clients.

    Advance shows with artist and promoter production teams, scheduling event days, rental equipment, trucking and load in and out of shows.

    coordinate all aspects of the event day including outside rental of equipment, rider requirements, special security, and other specific production needs.

    Assist Director of Production with payroll for union stagehands and teamsters.

    Work with the Director of Production on any related projects as requested and required, including, but not limited to, long-term administrative and operational planning.

    As a first point of contact for clients, this role will be a welcoming presence for all touring company members, technical crew, and artists across all of BSF Theaters.

    Minimum 3 years of experience in live theatre production, touring concert or theatre production, event production or technical direction and/or production management venue experience.

    Proficiency in Microsoft office, including Microsoft Teams, and PC-based computer work.
    Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of technical theatre. Knowledge of rigging, audio, video, lighting production, stage operations and logistics.
    Experience working with union crews.
    Must be available to work nights and weekends as necessary.
    Must be able to communicate in all forms (phone, virtual meetings, email, in-person) with clients and internal staff.
