Job SummaryJob Summary
The job of Behavioral Intervention Technician is done for the purpose/s of providing support to the educational process with specific responsibilities for assisting teachers, therapists, and counselors with administration of one-on-one intensive behavioral intervention assistance by providing a foundation for services and training behavior staff; tutoring of students in a school, home, or other setting; and performing a variety of activities in support of special instructional programs including special education, interagency, and district-wide subject matter.
Requirements / Qualifications
Applicants must have a total of 3 years of education and/or experience in any of the following areas: child development, psychology, speech pathology, or a similar function relating to the minimum qualification's skills, knowledge, and abilities of the classification.
Certificates and Licenses - Registered Behavior Technician Certification (requirement may be waived during probationary period)Valid Driver's License & Evidence of Insurability Blank or incomplete applications will NOT be accepted*Open Positions: #979 Behavioral Intervention Tech Student Education Support Svs Range 116.
