    Description
    Intramotev is
    seeking an Electrical Engineer to join the development team to meet growing
    demands in the development of self-propelled rail vehicles. Intramotev is
    developing multiple unmanned self-propelled vehicles. The role has a strong
    electrical focus with additional software abilities – the successful candidate
    will be a member of the development team for innovative self-propelled
    capabilities in electrical controllers, battery systems, and electric motor
    systems for current and future platforms. The development of these capabilities
    include multi-disciplinary skills - algorithms development, systems
    development, integration, and testing. This position will be based out of St.
    Louis, MO

    This position
    involves working in a dynamic team environment on small (1-2) to medium (3-6)
    person projects where excellent interpersonal and communication skills are
    needed.

    Due to the research nature of the work, project objectives and
    requirements are likely to evolve over the course of the role.

    A small
    amount of domestic travel to support integration, demonstration and customer
    engagement will be required.

    Position
    Responsibilities

    Analyzes and translates
    requirements into electrical system architecture, hardware and software
    designs and interface specifications.

    Tests and validate to ensure
    system designs meet operational and functional requirements.

    Solves problems concerning
    and provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the
    entire product lifecycle.

    Supports the
    supplier development, test and production activities and coordination with
    the supplier to optimize the design

    Research technological
    advancements for potential application to company business needs.

    Basic Qualifications
    (Required Skills/Experience)

    At least a Bachelor's Degree
    in Engineering, Mathematics, Science

    1-3+ years of experience with
    controllers and electrical systems

    U.S. Person (immigration or
    work visa sponsorship will not be provided)

    Motivated, detail-oriented

    Willingness to expand into
    technical areas beyond your area of expertise; ability to develop
    innovative and novel approaches

    Open-minded and comfortable
    working in a teaming environment or as an individual contributor

    Fluent in both written and
    verbal English

    Preferred
    Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

    Candidate should
    have a working knowledge of one or (ideally) multiple areas listed below:

    1+ years of experience with
    C, C++, C# and/or Python programming

    Unmanned Rail Systems /
    Unmanned Systems

    Demonstrated experience
    working on project teams and collaborating with other engineering
    disciplines.

    Typical Education

    and Experience:
    Education/experience
    typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and
    typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination
    of technical education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience,
    3 years' related work experience, etc.).
