What would I be doing?:

Position Summary

Serves beverages to guests and beverage servers in a professional, efficient and courteous manner in a clean attractive environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Job Tasks must be finished in a timely manner according to department standards.
2. Responsible for understanding the operation of all soda, juice and liquor guns.
3. Responsible for the handling of Company funds through cash transactions on the Micros System.
4. Follow all cash handling procedures as listed in the Food & Beverage Manual.
5. Inform the immediate supervisor of any product shortages.
6. Always conduct yourself in a manner that reflects a positive, professional image for Ameristar Casino Kansas City.
7. Practice and observe safety rules and regulations and encourage others to do so.
8. Handle the chemicals for the glass washing machine in a safe manner.
9. Responsible and accountable for all cash variances +/- $10.00.
10. Fully understand how to operate the Micros System.
11. Responsible for the cleanliness of your work station/bar.
12. Must take control of cocktail servers; serve them only at their stations.
13. Keep bar completely stocked for next shift.

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Able to communicate sufficiently with co-workers and supervisors.
• Must be able to handle a flexible schedule.

Required Natural Behaviors

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Required Education and Work Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
