Under the direction of the Director of Quality, the Infection Prevention Specialist will participate in the implementation, review and support of the facility infection prevention plan.
The Infection Prevention Specialist will collaborate with leadership, coworkers and medical staff to develop, implement, improve, monitor, and champion processes related to key infection control strategies.
The Infection Prevention Specialist will perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's of Science in clinical healthcare or a health sciences related field (e.g. nursing, lab sciences, public health or related field).
An Associate's degree or Nursing diploma and commensurate experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree, in addition to the required experience, may be considered.
Licensure:

Experience: 3+ years clinical healthcare related experience
Certification/Registration:
