    Working Title: Alumni Engagement Center Representative

    Job Summary: Alumni Engagement Center Representative for the Spring 2024 semester.
    Employment dates: February 26, May 4, 2024

    A. Solicit gifts from UWF alumni in support of the Annual Fund.
    1) Conduct telephone solicitation phone calls with prospective donors.
    2) Make clear and complete records of each call's results.
    3) Work at least two 4-hour calling sessions per week.
    (Monday and Wednesday 1-6pm, Tuesday and Thursday 12-5pm)

    B. Serve as a representative of the University of West Florida to alumni.
    1) Present a positive image of UWF.
    2) Engage alumni in conversation regarding their interests and needs.
    3) Explain the importance of voluntary giving by UWF alumni to the University.
    4) Represent class, student body, and major department with enthusiasm.

    C. Maintain the Alumni Engagement Center (Phonathon room).
    1) Keep room materials neat and organized.
    2) Be responsible for the general care of telephones, equipment, and the room.

    Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must be current students and actively enrolled at UWF during the Spring 2024 semester.

    Preferred Qualifications - Telemarketing experience is highly desirable but not required.
    - Impeccable phone manners.
    - Friendly, clear, effective, and persuasive communication skills.
    - Enthusiasm for the concept of voluntary financial support of UWF.
    - Attentiveness to detail and organized work habits.
    - Willingness to uphold Alumni Engagement Center (Phonathon) regulations and policies.
