    Patient population

    • Neuro surgical, Trauma (level III, going to level II this year), cardiac arrest, resp arrest, ETOH/Drug WD, all vented patients come to the ICU at our facility.

    Pod A is a recent expansion, opened 1/24/19 and consists of 12 beds. Pod B (on the second floor) contains 16 beds.

    Number of Beds - 28
    Number of Staff – 42

    Type of staff:
    Day Shift – 1 charge, number of nurses depends on census/acuity, critical care tech staffed 6 days a week,
    Night Shift - 1 charge, number of nurses depends on census/acuity, critical care tech staffed 6 days a week,
    Patient Ratios – Typically 1:2, can be 1:1 or 1:3 depending on acuity - Estimated ratios, not guaranteed
    Type of equipment –Pyxis, Plum Pump IVs, GE bedside monitors, Nelcor, Artic Sun, Sub Zero
    EMR - Meditech
