    A distinguished college preparatory school in Miami, Florida, seeks adaptable and dedicated educators for on-call Substitute Teacher roles. This position is uniquely designed for individuals passionate about teaching and capable of providing high-quality educational experiences across various grades With shifts available ranging from full days to half days, and the flexibility of an on-call schedule, this role suits those who excel in dynamic teaching environments and are committed to educational excellence.
    Role Responsibilities:
    • Adaptable Instruction: Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons based on provided study plans and materials.
    • Classroom Management: Foster a positive and productive learning environment, ensuring student engagement and discipline.
    • Curriculum Delivery: Effectively teach using the provided curriculum materials, ensuring consistency and academic rigor.
    • Flexible Engagement: Adapt to various teaching schedules, including full-day or half-day shifts, with potential same-day notice.
    • Student Support: Emphasize academic achievement and understanding, demonstrating a teacher's mindset in facilitating learning, not just supervision.

    Candidate Qualifications:
    • Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Education or a related field, or currently working toward completion.
    • Certification: Eligibility to obtain or possession of a valid Substitute Teacher certificate from the Florida Department of Education (FDOE).
    • Experience: Prior teaching or substitute teaching experience is preferred, showcasing an ability to adapt to various educational settings.
