    Description
    The Manufacturing Engineer will develop and improve production processes by observing and improving manufacturing methods. This will be a hands-on role where the employee will learn multiple different metal manufacturing processes on the job. The client is a multinational manufacturing company serving some of the most prominent names in the automotive industry.

    Lead problem solving efforts to resolve production problems.
    Communicate with our quality and engineering teams to drive process improvements.
    Develop proper manufacturing, testing, and quality control standard work.

    Conduct in process checks on the production line to ensure standard work is followed and work-in-process, finished products, and packing meet quality requirements.

    Conduct final inspection on finished products and record test data.
    Develop and improve monthly reports to quantify Production improvement and identify areas requiring attention/improvement
    Determine the process capabilities and outgoing quality levels of all major products.
    Identify process improvement and optimization opportunities.
    Assist in the development and implementation of training programs, process planning, and policies.
    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
    ~2+ years in production or process engineering/experience in a manufacturing environment
    ~ Knowledge and understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, techniques, and philosophies
    ~ Experience working in a dynamic environment, developing flexible solutions to meet evolving business needs.
