    The Registered Nurse (RN) is a key member of the medical-surgical team with a specialization in Surgical Gyn/Oncology. This role involves providing essential physical, emotional, and spiritual support to patients, families, and significant others to ensure positive patient outcomes in a secure environment. The RN operates in a multifaceted capacity, upholding professionalism, fostering excellence, and autonomy in nursing practice. By applying the nursing process and evidence-based principles, the RN delivers high-quality care to a diverse patient population within the department's scope.

    The RN acts as a compassionate guide, healer, collaborator, teacher, leader, and guardian throughout the patient's healthcare journey. Collaboration and guidance in interdisciplinary care delivery are essential for this role. Adherence to the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, Nursing Code of Ethics, and relevant regulatory standards is imperative.

    Education Required:
    Associate degree
