    We are looking for an Operations Analyst that is safety and quality conscious and willing to learn and grow with the business.

    This is a role where you will work in a TEAM environment where safety always comes first.

    Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    Supports plant-wide initiatives and metricsA key member of continuous improvement projects at the siteCreates clear written procedures to help ensure a safe and efficient processWorks closely with production management team to determine efficient utilization of employees and equipmentConforms to all regulatory requirements such as FRA, DOT, OSHA, etc.

    Modeling and adhering to the UTLX ValuesSKILLS/ABILITIESComputer Skills to include Microsoft 365Working knowledge of CAD applications (Solid Edge, AutoCAD) is beneficialUnderstanding of welding processesProblem Solving/Analysis skills and Change ManagementAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously, attention to detail and excellent organizational skillsListening and feedback skills to include proficiently communicating with employees, peers, managers, internal and external customersAbility to write reports, procedures, etc.

    in a clear and professional mannerResults drivenDemonstrated self-development as well as the development of others which may include direct training experience of employees as well as preparing and organizing learning activitiesEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/


    QUALIFICATIONS:


    Bachelor's degree in operations or related field a plus; 7+ years of experience will be considered in lieu of degreeLean Six Sigma certification is preferredThree (3) years proven experience leading lean activities such as Kaizen, Time Studies, SMED, etc.

    Facilitation experience with knowledge of leading cross-functional teamsPrevious work experience in production method development, standards, fixtures, and toolingExperience utilizing lean processes, SPC and ISO standardsExperience working in a manufacturing or industrial environmentExposure to lean tools is beneficial (5S, Kaizen, etc.), Practical experience with visual management
