    A week in the life of aData Scientist/Data Engineer


    • Provides technical/management leadership to specify, shape, implement and maintain data management solutions for logistics information systems, ensuring the effective utilization of Agile practices, AI, and ML technologies.
    • Leads team of data professionals, collaborates with cross-functional teams, and drives the collection, storage, analysis, and utilization of data to enable informed business decisions and innovation.
    • Develops, implements, and coordinates data management practices to ensure data quality, accuracy, and security.
    • Collaborates with stakeholders to understand data needs, ensures data availability, and solves complex technical problems related to the use of storage hardware/software.
    • Prepares and implements AI and ML solutions to extract insights, patterns, and predictive models from large datasets.
    • Drives the design and maintenance of data infrastructure, plans and executes data storage movement; prepares and implements data validation and verification testing.
    • Develops and implements business rules, data definitions, and maintains data lexicons, dictionaries, data quality metrics, and governance.
    • Oversees data integration, transformation, and validation processes to ensure data consistency across systems

    Deep experience with supply chain risk optimization, entity resolution/identity matching, cross-domain solutioning, graph analysis, cyber security, DevSecOps, are highly desired.


    • Implements data visualization tools and techniques to communicate insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders
    Decision making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project implementation
    Job Requirements


    • Bachelor's of Science degree with minimum of ten years of relevant experience;
    • Must possess and maintain a DoD TOP SECRET Clearance and be able to obtain a Common Access Card

    The salary range for this position is$140,000 - $160,000
    Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law
