Job Description

As a Security Officer - Foot Patrol in Horicon, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. You will support access and visitor activity, document observations, and communicate clearly while delivering customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.

Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazards.

Monitor access control points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor check-in and/or badge issuance, and direct deliveries to designated receiving areas per site policy.

Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.

Complete daily activity logs and incident reports, document unusual conditions, and escalate maintenance and/or operational concerns through the established chain of communication.

Minimum Requirements:

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
