- Obtain beginner knowledge to set up coating machines
- Gain knowledge of department SOP content
- Follow SOP instructions to produce material that meet specifications
- Perform tests and check product routinely for multiple characteristics using standard measuring devices such as calipers and micrometers
- Must be able to utilize a weight scale for solids and liquid measurements
- Read, know, understand, and take ownership for all safety, quality, and processes in the area in which you are working.
- Obtain beginner knowledge to detect and report to supervisor when process isn't running as it should or something doesn't appear correct
- Maintain and provide daily production counts on each assignment worked
- Ability to demonstrate basic maintenance of daily time sheets
- Must meet safety, quality, and production goals
- Ability to follow appropriate PPE guidelines for area in which you are working at all times
- Lift and move products as required and/or directed
- Perform necessary housekeeping to maintain 5s work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
