    POSITION TITLE:

    FOOD SERVICE ASSOCIATE

    LOCATION:
    Central Kitchen


    POSTING DATE:

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    Approximately 29.5 hours per week


    DAYS:
    Nine month employment


    SALARY SCHEDULE:
    Rate of pay will be $12.57 per hour.


    START DATE:
    As soon as possible.


    JOB SUMMARY:
    Prepare, distribute, and serve food for breakfast and lunches. Duties will include preparing cafeteria for meal

    services. Work requires some physical exertion and heavy lifting (50 pounds - for example - cases of canned

    foods, trays of canned food and trays of dishes.)


    JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
    Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent.


    EMPLOYMENT INFORMATION:
    Transfers are available on-line for District employees. Substitute Food Service Workers can apply on-line

    Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and Public Employee's Retirement are available to Classified employees

    who work at least half time (20 hours per week) or more in a regular position. This position is eligible for part

    time insurance only.
