    At Comagine Health, our utilization management best practices assure that patients receive the right care, in the right setting, at the right time, thereby avoiding the overuse, misuse and underuse of health services.

    We provide web-based utilization reviews and targeted review programs based on extensive data analysis. We are seeking a

    remote Clinical Review RN

    to join our team supporting Washington State's Labor & Industries department.


    Because of our contractual requirements for RN reviewer coverage until at least 5pm pacific time, we are looking for Nurses who reside in the Pacific or Mountain time zones.

    What you'll be doing for us:

    Participate in a multi-disciplinary team to improve the quality of healthcare for individuals and populations.


    Apply nationally-recognized clinical criteria and guidelines to determine the medical necessity of inpatient admissions, outpatient procedures, and other healthcare services.

    Consult with physicians or refer cases to others, when indicated.


    Competencies:
    Intermediate MS Office Suite proficiency.

    Have a natural curiosity and desire to learn with attention to detail.

    Ability to work independently with minimal supervisor in a quality and or productivity driven team-oriented environment.


    Required Qualifications:
    Degree or diploma in nursing

    Current, active, unrestricted RN license in Washington state.

    3+ years of clinical (direct patient care) work experience that includes critical care, ED, and/or intensive care.


    Please note that this position is available to RNs who are open to working the Pacific and Mountain time zones, Monday - Friday.


    Salary Range:
    $70,000 - $95,000

    The salary range posted reflects the range that Comagine is willing to pay for this position.

    Salary is determined by many factors, including but not limited to geographic location of where the employee will perform their job duties in addition to their knowledge, skills, education, and relevant work experience.

    QUALIFICATIONS:



    • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in ECE or related field with 12 ECE credits, preferred

    OR

    • Current center-based preschool CDA with 12 ECE credits, and enrolled in a program that will lead to an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in ECE or related field to be completed within three years of the time of hire.
    • Staff with an Associate's Degree will be working on Bachelor's degree
    • Have access to reliable, insured transportation.
    • Must have or obtain and maintain CT child care first-aid, child CPR, and medication administration certification.
    • Provide a TVCCA Staff Statement of Good Health statement signed by a physician, physician's assistant, or nurse practitioner completed within twelve (12) months before the date of employment, and every twenty-four (24) months for current staff.
    • Provide a written report of negative tuberculin test completed within twelve (12) months prior to the date of employment, or for a known prior reactor, no evidence of active tuberculosis on a chest x-ray.
    Must have or obtain and maintain CT child care first-aid, and infant and child CPR, and medication administration certification.


    • Provide a TVCCA Staff Statement of Good Health signed by a physician, physician's assistant, or nurse practitioner completed within twelve (12) months before the date of employment, and every twenty-four (24) months for current staff.
    • Provide a written report of negative tuberculin test completed within twelve (12) months prior to the date of employment, or for a known prior reactor, no evidence of active tuberculosis on a chest x-ray.
    • Must be able to lift and/or carry a child up to 50lbs.
    • Have the credentials to obtain a Connecticut Head Teacher License from the Department of Public Health.
    • Minimum of 18 years of age
    • Be able to work 35-37 hours/week, 52 weeks/year.
    • The TVCCA Little Learners and Head Start Early Education Program requires staff to be available from 7:00AM – 5:00PM to cover center operational hours on a rotational basis.
    • Continue professional development per funding source requirements.
    • Strong Computer and ability to effectively communicate with children, parents, staff and volunteers
