Description

Join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN)!

Provide nursing care for patients of all ages
Assess, plan, implement, and coordinate patient care within the guidelines of the NC Nurse Practice Act
Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to develop individualized care plans
Adjust care plans based on patient evaluation and nursing interventions
Document patient care and updates regularly
Identify homecare needs and contribute to discharge planning
Recognize changes in patient conditions and revise care plans accordingly
Promote diversity and cultural sensitivity in patient care
Support evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives
Adhere to regulatory standards and best practices
Hold self and others accountable for compliance
Delegate tasks appropriately and provide necessary supervision
Participate in ongoing training and development activities

Requirements:

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Acceptance into Cone Health New Graduate program or completion of an acute care new graduate program for new RN graduates
One year of Acute Care RN experience preferred for experienced RNs
BLS (CPR) certification required (American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider)
Additional certifications such Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) and Safe Training and Responsible Restraints (STARR) are preferred
