ProCare Therapy is searching for a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher for Darnell School in Medfield, MA, for the school year. Job Details:

• Position: Special Education Teacher
• Location: Medfield, MA
• Hours:35+ hours per week

Qualifications:

• Experience in the following preferred:
• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Special Education
• Massachusetts SPED Teaching Certification
• Previous experience in a SPED role is preferred
• Familiar with IEP's and EDP's

Responsibilities:

• Lead SPED teacher.
• ASAP 221 day program, fiscal year July 1-End of June.
• Up to 6 students; more of a severe setting, mod-severe licensure.
• • Primarily autism, behavior.
• Teach, work with students, paraprofessionals, families, other staff, take data.
• Update IEP goals, assess students and write up the assessment report.
• Write IEPs, attend IEP meetings, present the assessment results.
