    Provide support to the project staff to ensure quality and timely execution of construction projects from design to completion.


    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide support to the project staff to ensure quality and timely execution of construction projects from design to completion.

    These phases include:

    scheduling, purchasing/quote solicitation, budget management, preparation of purchase orders, the handling of end-user coordination, construction quality oversight, and project closeout.


    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Instruct and direct laborers and other construction helpers
    • Oversee onsite subcontractors.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALS

    • This position requires a high school diploma or GED.
    • Minimum of 3-7 years of related experience required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in the Carpenter trade.
    • Valid Driver's License
    ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES ESSENTIAL TO THE FUNCTION OF THE JOB


    • General knowledge of construction principles/practices required.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible style in working with all types of individuals.
    • Experienced dealing with subcontracts, subcontractors and/or self-perform work is a plus.
    • Creative and results-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency.
    • Highly entrepreneurial and self-motivated, with the ability to work equally well on own as well as in a team environment.
    • Ability to walk the job site, climb ladders, and multi floor scaffolding.
    • Works independently and exercising good judgment and discretion is essential to this job.
    • Ability to lift objects at least 50 lbs.
