Location: On‑site — Westerville, Ohio and Delaware, Ohio

Pay: $18.00/hr (W2)

Work Environment

• Monday-Friday Shifts
  • Monday: 10:00 AM-7:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 7:00 AM-4:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 10:00 AM-7:00 PM
  • Thursday: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
  • Friday: 7:00 AM-4:00 PM
• Outpatient office
• Busy practice
• Flexibility required to rotate among multiple locations
• Reliable transportation required
• Training onsite

Compensation and Benefits

Pay Rate: $18/hr (W2)

Duration: 5‑month contract‑to‑hire

About the Role

We are seeking a patient‑focused, organized Patient Services Specialist to support front desk operations across multiple outpatient clinics. This individual will greet patients, manage check‑in/check‑out functions, handle insurance and billing processes, and deliver excellent customer service in a busy medical environment.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Support & Front Desk

• Warmly greet every patient with eye contact, a smile, and a positive tone
• Guide new patients through required paperwork
• Perform patient registration
• Answer phones, check voicemails, schedule and follow up on appointments
• Collect co‑pays and address charge‑related questions

Insurance & Administrative Tasks

• Verify insurance and complete authorizations
• Maintain accurate patient demographics
• Close out day‑end tasks

Documentation & Systems

• Use EMR systems: Therapy Source and Rehab Toolkit
• Document all patient interactions with accuracy and professionalism

Required Skills & Experience

• 1+ year of medical front desk, general front desk, or customer service experience
• Excellent customer service (in‑person and over the phone)
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to manage a heavy workload and multitask
• Highly reliable and punctual
• Healthcare background preferred but not required
• Call center experience with strong service skills acceptable

This is a Contract‑to‑Hire position covering 4 local offices in Westerville, Ohio and Delaware, Ohio

• Westerville, OH: must be able to cover 2 Westerville + 2 Delaware offices
• Candidates will know schedules in advance but must be flexible with limited notice.
