    Job Description

    American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with Level 1 Trauma experience and ARRT RT (R)(CT) certification for a 13-week travel assignment at a Magnet-designated academic teaching hospital in Charleston, SC.

    Responsibilities
    Work setting is an 865-bed Magnet-designated, academic Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital
    3x12-hour day shifts, Sunday through Tuesday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
    Holiday rotation required
    On-call rotation with staff required
    Floating within clinical scope to meet facility needs, including to sister facilities
    Daily caseload varies by shift and location
    Charting is performed in Epic
    First-time travelers are accepted provided they have relevant prior clinical experience
    Previous permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC location must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
    All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of consideration; approval is based on manager and unit needs
    Online orientation modules are completed prior to the start of the assignment
    Travelers are assigned to emergency response teams and may be called upon during emergency events, including hurricanes (peak season: August–September)
    Agency must supply a radiation badge — the facility does not provide radiation badges to travelers
    Scrub colors are teal top and black bottom
    Parking on nights and weekends requires a one-time $20 fee for a parking pass

    Requirements
    Minimum 6 months of Level 1 Trauma experience required; 1 year of CT Tech experience preferred
    Current BLS (AHA), ARRT RT (R)(CT), and SCRQSA (R)(CT) required
    SC state license required if applicable and must be in hand prior to start
    Siemens CT equipment experience required
    Epic EMR experience
    SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
    2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
    Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate; local candidates within 60 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis
