    Duties are below:


    Performs a wide variety of assignments which may be confidential in nature and require research to complete; operates personal computer to compose, edit, revise, tabulate, and print letters, tables, reports, and other materials.

    Assist with the creation of

    Annual Report:
    Trainee Bios (includes reaching out to PIs, trainees, and staff) and organizing Grant Listings

    Collection and sorting of committee logs

    Solicit business for Staff Meeting donations, update tax letter

    Create detailed work Instructions for relevant duties


    Greets and directs visitors, resolves routine administrative problems and answers inquiries concerning activities and operations of department/division; accepts, screens, and routes telephone calls; maintains log of inquiries as required.

    Answer phones/emails as needed

    Help vendors navigate campus

    Meet and coordinate food deliveries


    Performs a range of staff and/or operational support activities; may serve as a liaison with other departments on basic administrative and/or operational matters.

    Create binders/folders as needed

    Assist Fiscal Director, Executive Director, Associate Director and Vice President for Research with miscellaneous duties as well as provide support for 5 units in Office of Research when needed


    Sorts, screens, and distributes incoming and outgoing mail, drafts or prepares responses to routine inquiries, and operates a variety of office equipment.

    Pick up mail for Vice President for Research and Office of Research staff and distribute across campus

    Distribute confidential mail or certificates for awards

    Distribute Annual reports

    Restocking printer/inventory/re-fill paper trays

    Create binders/folders as needed

    Establishes, maintains, processes, and updates files, records, certificates, and/or other documents.

    Search for documents on N:
    Drive

    Create listervs and update call lists

    Monitor websites and submit website update tickets


    Arranges meetings and conferences, schedules interviews and appointments, and performs other duties related to maintaining one or more individual schedules; makes travel and lodging arrangements, either directly or through travel agencies.

    Provide meeting support (print interview questions, share screen, create agendas)

    Help with coordination for in-person interviews

    Orders, stocks, and distributes office supplies.

    Help admins do inventory for office supply orders

    Distribute office supplies to appropriate departments

    Performs basic, routine bookkeeping functions, which may involve simple billing and cash receipt activities.

    Assist Accountants with necessary assistance with JV's and other tracking

    May serve as Campus Security Authority as outlined by the Clery Act.

    Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications


    Enrolled in a degree seeking program at UNM, Enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at UNM for fall and spring semesters (Audit hours do not count), and if Work Study, you must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress.

    Preferred Qualifications Knowledge in Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access)

    Excellent Customer Service skills

    Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures

    Word processing and/or data entry skills

    Ability to prepare and print routine correspondence, labels, and/or other basic written material

    Skill in the use of operating basic office equipment

    Receptionist skills
