    Program Coordinator

    Work with the Associate Director in the advising of the Pitt Program Council.* Collaborate with other student organizations, campus departments, and external partners to identify, create, and execute engaging and inclusive programs.* Work with the Associate Director to develop, plan, and coordinate programs and events that align with the institution's goals and enhance the student experience.* Reserve rooms for programs in advance of the term and maintain a calendar of the reservations and setups.* Assist the Associate Director with reviewing practices, policies, and initiatives associated within the Department to ensure the promotion of a culture of diversity and inclusion that meet the needs of diverse student populations.* Work as a team to identify critical elements of the unit/office that require assessment of learning or evaluation of services/needs, help conduct those assessments, share findings with appropriate audiences, and help make adjustments to internal programs and practices based on data and evidence.* Engage with students, listen to their feedback, and incorporate their perspectives into program planning and decision-making.* Ensure that programs meet the needs and interests of the diverse student body while promoting a sense of community and school spirit.* Work with the Associate Director to develop an annual professional development plan that will ensure awareness of trends, best practices, new information, etc. related to student involvement, activities, and skills.* Participate in departmental, divisional and university-wide committees and initiatives.* Participates in departmental, university, community, statewide, national, and professional activities appropriate to the position and discipline. * Participate in the annual Student Affairs Divisional and Departments strategic planning and reporting efforts.

    Job Summary

    Manages, develops, and implements enrichment programs for students. Evaluates and improves programs and ensures adherence to regulations, guidelines, and curriculum standards. Develops support materials to promote enrichment programs.

    Essential Functions

    This position is primarily responsible for working with the Associate director for oversight of all campus activities and events of the Pitt Program Council as well as events and activities supported by Student Affairs. The incumbent will work with the Associate Director in the implementation of major student social programming initiatives and will, in conjunction with their direct advisors, advise student groups working to plan campus events.
