    Day-to-Day

    Insight Global is seeking to hire a mid to junior level Systems Integration Engineer to support a high-tech international provider of communication and information systems for air traffic management. This position will sit onsite in Columbia, MD and will work within a systems engineering team to support a major customer program. This team will be responsible for automating deployment, configuration, and monitoring of hardware/software systems, as well as act as the intermediate engineers between the systems architect team and the production team. Additional responsibilities include:

    • Occasionally taking part in physical deployment such as integrating racks with the customers infrastructure
    • Collaborate with internal teams (program management, hardware & software development, solution architects, test engineering, field engineering, production)
    • Hands-on integration of software and hardware components such as software installation and configuration, network configuration, and telecom hardware integration

    Must-haves

    • 3-5 years of experience in Network Systems Engineering experience
    • Understanding of network cabling, deployments, rack/stack
    • Linux experience
    • Scripting experience and/or ability to modify existing
    • Ability to be processed for a public trust clearance
