    JM Family Enterprises is immediately seeking a highly motivated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team.

    The ideal candidate will be tasked with rendering professional physical therapy care for the comfort and well-being of our patients.

    We're looking for someone who is not only skilled in their craft but also brings a thoughtful approach to rehabilitation and recovery.

    Our practice specializes in treating patients with orthopedic conditions in a corporate setting.

    This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week Monday-Friday and may require travel.


    Responsibilities:

    • Evaluate and assess patients' physical conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
    • Provide hands-on therapy to patients using various techniques and modalities
    • Educate patients and their families on exercises & activities to improve mobility, strength, and function
    • Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
    • Stay up-to-date with advancements in physical therapy techniques
    • Adapt to changes and additional job duties

    Qualifications:

    • Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida
    • Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
    • Experience working in an orthopedic and private practice setting
    • Preferred minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical practice
    • Proficient knowledge of Outlook Calendar & Email, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Experience using All Scripts Electronic Medical Record Application, preferred but not required

    Preferred:

    • Orthopedic Clinical Specialist or Manual Therapy Certification
    • Dry Needling Certified
    • Experience with Vestibular Physical Therapy
    • Corporate experience a plus

    Physical Abilities:

    • Standing for extended periods
    • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds
    • Standing for extended periods
    (possibly up to 6 hours), push, pull, pull, and reach; occasionally bend, sit, stoop, and stretch

    • Maintain full range of body motion, including handling and lifting of patients if necessary
    • Occasionally working at different Health and Wellness Centers

    Skills:

    • Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
    • Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care
    • Solid problem-solving and critical thinking skills to develop individualized treatment plans
    • Physical endurance and dexterity to perform hands-on therapy techniques
    • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
