**Salary:** $15.00 to $16.00 / Hour

**Hours:** 40 to 44 Hours / Week

**Roles and Responsibility:**Overall responsibility

Assist the Packaging Department with ensuring all shipping/receiving tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.

Key areas of responsibility

Organize and complete all shipping activities within the Packaging Department; complete all necessary documentation.

Responsible for tracking daily production with accuracy; complete all necessary documentation.

Responsible for ensuring all outgoing product is properly palletized and labeled, as per requirements.

Complete maintenance of the shipping process: inspections, communication with drivers, verification of all necessary documentation.

Organize and complete all receiving activities for all departments; complete all necessary documentation.

Responsible for ensuring all incoming product meets quality standards and is accounted for, as per requirements; complete all necessary documentation.

Complete maintenance of the receiving process: inspections, communication with applicable Manager(s), verification of all necessary documentation.

Ensure product is properly stored as directed by the applicable Manager(s).

Ensure packaging employees are provided with the correct supplies to complete Customer(s) orders.

Prepare & stock all lines as required.

Ensure product is accounted for.

Perform minor repairs in the packhouse, as needed.

Assist with monitoring and reporting maintenance needs to the Packaging Manager.

Floor sweeping using motorized floor scrubber, as scheduled.

Complete other miscellaneous duties as assigned by applicable Manager(s).

General labour duties, when directed by applicable Manager(s).

Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.

Maintain confidentiality regarding all projects, property and intellectual property of the company.

Report all discrepancies and breaches of any and all company procedures, protocols and integrity.

Ensure that all functions conform to all Food Safety, Quality Management System and Health and Safety requirements.

Obey all general job training instructions, safe work practices and procedures.

**Transportation/Travel Information:** Own transportation, Valid driver's licence

**Specific Skills:** Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, Maintain internal record-keeping system, Unpack goods received, Oversee loading and unloading of goods.
