    The Role:

    • We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to join our finance team.
    • This is a critical role responsible for all aspects of the accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting.
    • You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial information and supporting the company's strategic growth.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage accounts payable, including processing invoices, verifying accuracy, and making timely payments.
    • Oversee accounts receivable, including issuing invoices, collecting payments, and managing customer accounts.
    • Process payments from clients & perform collections from overdue clients.
    • Create and share critical financial reports to a variety of stakeholders.
    • Monitor and manage deferred revenue.
    • Interface with outside vendors / payees
    • Maintain the general ledger & assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
    • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting while documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
    • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
    • Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to management.
    • Support with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
    • Assist with year-end closing procedures and audits.
    • Stay up to date on accounting best practices and regulations.
    • Collaborate effectively with other departments, including sales, product development, design, and management.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Staff Accountant or similar role.
    • Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
    • Ability to produce quality materials within tight time frames and manage several tasks simultaneously.
    • Proficient in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Microsoft NAV Dynamics.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
