    The Training and Logistics Solutions Integrated Engineering Team is working on many exciting programs and developing cutting edge products and applications to meet the complex and evolving needs of our customers.

    The engineer will participate in phases of a complex software systems development lifecycle (SDLC), leveraging our Integrated engineering processes and procedures while performing respective engineering activities.

Positions are located in East Orlando, FL at the Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) Lake Underhill Facility.     Qualified candidates will be well versed in budget planning, tracking of project expenses, financial analysis, and scheduling, who can assist our technical teams with earned value management.

    While a large focus for this position will be financial and schedule performance, there may also be additional responsibilities including workload demand reporting for the organization, action tracking, coordinating organization program reviews, etc.

    Strong written and verbal communication skills are also highly valued as someone in this position will be engaging with engineering staff, engineering program managers and program managers.


    Basic Qualifications:

    • Demonstrated proficiency in working multiple tasks concurrently
    • Intermediate to Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite in particular Excel, managing large amounts of data, conducting analysis, and generating concise results that can be leveraged by others to make critical business decisions
    • Demonstrated ability to create effective working relationships across organizations and program teams.
    • Highly organized with an attention to detail
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to obtain a security clearance is required
    • Control Account Management (CAM) or Work package management experience
    • Lockheed Martin or UCF CWEP Experience

    Desired Skills:

    • Working knowledge of Earned Value Management
    • Tool familiarity: Advanced Excel, PM Compass, GRID, Tableau, GenBOE

    Security Clearance Statement:
    This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

    The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

    The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

    Work Schedules:
    Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.

    These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

    Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
