- This position is full time at 69th & Louise. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:30am to 5:30pm.
- Greet all customers with a smile and friendly attitude
- Record prices, subtotal taxable items, and total purchases on cash register
- Collect acceptable forms of payment from customer and make change for cash transactions
- Maintain knowledge of weekly ad
- Review price sheets to note price changes and sale items
- Maintain a neat and clean register area
- Fill pop coolers, tobacco, and candy displays
- Verify proper identification when accepting checks and for purchases of tobacco and/or alcohol
- Additional duties assigned by management
- Must be neat and clean in appearance
- Eagerness to help customers with a positive and friendly attitude
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Must be a self-starter
- Willingness to take direction when needed
- Ability to maintain composure when dealing with challenging situations
- Ability and desire to learn new skills

The cashier is responsible for providing positive and friendly customer service.
The cashier will operate a cash register to total customers' purchases and accept payments, verifying all prices and quantities are accurate.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMust be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time
Must be able to constantly operate a cash register
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally with or without accommodation
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required (or in progress)
Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly
Basic math and computer skills
