Moen's Sr.
Financial Analyst within the SBU Finance team will provide quality decision support and insights to bath and kitchen product managers and leadership as well as Channel Marketing teams.
Sr.Financial Analyst will own NPD (New Product Development) project financial modeling and channel/product/customer price analysis, along with forecast ownership in related support areas.
Our Senior Financial Analyst will present and own financial sections of the stage gate presentations.This role is designated as a hybrid role which includes working at least 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) in our main office located in North Olmsted, OH to foster better collaboration, connection, and innovation.
ResponsibilitiesNew Product Development and connection with the stage gate process – manage DCF modeling, leveraging input from key business partners, appropriately challenging assumptions, present financials in stage gate reviews, applying learnings from post-launch reviews, etc.
Ensure capital expense submissions follow FBIN and FP&A process requirementsSupport product teams efforts and analysis around customer product line reviews
Assist with project post-launch reviews to establish and encourage continuous learning and application toward future projects
Support product/project teams to manage project capital and expense within budget
Permanent price reposition decision support, modeling, and analysis
Provide finance support and guidance to Kitchen/Bath product teams (ad hoc analysis, profitability analysis, accounting/forecasting guidance, etc.)
Drive continuous improvement across work processes
Provide ad hoc financial analysis and special project ROI support as necessary
Own market share modeling, involving vetting share assumptions built into Product Plan and Annual Plan; Partner with product management leads around assumptions and classifications
Price analysis and forecast, including mix margin ownership
Partner with ASM (channel marketing) to populate their forecast
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Engineering) is required; an MBA, CPA and/or CMA is preferred
Minimum of 6 years of related financial analysis experience is required
Proven analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills; knowledge of SAP and BPC, or equivalent system
Proficiency with Excel modeling, data management and translating information into meaningful presentations and insights
Demonstrated success working with cross-functional teams and business partners
Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
Strong business acumen and thorough understanding of business fundamentals, with ability to present to wide audiences
