    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage all aspects of customer accounts including process incoming and outgoing orders through the ERP system.
    • Utilize customer portals to communicate shipping and invoicing information to the customer.
    • Act as liaison between customers, internal departments, and Japan-based parent company.
    • Collaborate across all departments and company levels to achieve total customer satisfaction.
    • Other miscellaneous responsibilities as assigned.

    Shin-Etsu MicroSi is a chemical sales organization focused mainly on the semiconductor and tech industries. We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join our Customer Development team While applicable experience is required, we are primarily seeking talented individuals with a strong customer satisfaction driven mindset. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a moderately supervised, multi-faceted role and willing to evolve with changing responsibilities. A willingness to learn new skills and an interest in seeking out additional responsibilities are important for advancement within the company.

    This position is currently hybrid with the ability to work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays following a probationary training period. Office hours are Monday-Thursday 7:00am-5:00pm and Friday 8:00am-12:00pm for a total of 40 weekly hours.

    Our Customer Development Representatives work as a team to manage all aspects of our customers accounts with an end goal of total customer satisfaction. CDRs process incoming orders through the ERP system, follow up with purchasing and manufacturing on order status, communicate shipment information to the customer, and use customer portals to deliver invoices. They develop relationships with customers and act as the customer liaison with other internal departments during the entire order process from initiation to delivery confirmation. CDRs work closely with all departments and company levels to thoroughly address customer concerns and respond to customer inquiries.

    To fulfill the essential duties and functions, Customer Development Representatives are expected to communicate professionally with all involved parties on a regular basis. CDRs must be able to maintain a positive, self-starting attitude while working in a team-oriented environment. A certain amount of role fluidity is expected, and the ability to adapt to situational change is crucial. This is a computer-based position, so MS Office proficiency and professional communication skills are essential.
