    Position Summary:

    Under the general direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, the Nursing Unit Director is responsible for developing and implementing strategies for the clinical care of a defined group of patient care/clinical areas.

    Fosters best practices for patients and unit/hospital operations. May also have responsibilities for non-clinical functions related to the clinical area.

    As the leader, will shape and interpret the standards required to ensure quality outcomes and a high degree of patient, physician and employee satisfaction.


    Must Haves:
    Bachelors degree in healthcare or related fieldCurrent AZ RN licenseCPR Certification (within 30 days of hire)2-4 years previous experience in a clinical setting2-4 years previous managerial experience
