Responsibilities

• Provide mammography imaging services.
• Operate equipment and perform various related procedures. Prepare and position patients accurately.
• Explain procedures and educate patients about the role of regular mammography in preventive breast health.
• Develop and evaluate the film for technical quality.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
• Ensure submission of high-quality images and documents sent to PACS.
• Ensure equipment is properly functioning.
• Maintain a clean department.

Requirements

• BLS Provider certification required. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Mammography or Medical Sonographer credential.

Education:

• High School diploma or Associate's degree/Technical degree

• ARRT registry in Mammography or board eligible preferred. Experience in mammography preferred.
