Job Title: File Clerk
Employment Type: Contract
Work Hours: 40 hrs./week
Work site: 100% Onsite

Minimum Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Work Experience:

• Previous experience in a clerical or file clerk role is advantageous but not mandatory
• Familiarity with basic office equipment (e.g., file cabinets, scanners)

Job Duties:

• File correspondence, cards, invoices, receipts, and other records in alphabetical or numerical order
• Implement and maintain an efficient and organized filing system
• Retrieve and remove materials from files upon request
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of filed documents
• Follow oral and written instructions for proper filing procedures
• Provide support in locating and retrieving files for staff members
• Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain data security

Preferred Skills:

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions accurately
• Basic knowledge of filing systems and procedures
• Proficiency in using office equipment such as scanners and copiers
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with document management software

Misc. Information:

• Shift Days/Time: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
• Parking available at a daily rate of $10/day in addition to metered street parking.
• Office location is accessible via CDTA bus routes.
• Interviews will be conducted in person and/or via Zoom based on the availability.
• Training will be provided.
