    Chord Energy is seeking an experienced Senior Revenue Accountant to perform various revenue functions primarily related to its North Dakota and Montana assets.

    The primary responsibilities include processing and reviewing oil and gas revenues (accruals & actuals) for operated and non-operated properties, processing prior period adjustments (PPAs), preparing account reconciliations and analysis and assisting with various team projects.

    This position reports directly to the Revenue Accounting Manager and is located in Downtown Houston, TX. Hybrid work schedule is an option for remote work on Mondays and Fridays. Level and salary commensurate with experience.

    Essential Job Functions


    • Responsible for processing and reviewing revenues (accruals & actuals) for operated & non-operated properties
    • Responsible for processing and reviewing PPAs
    • Responsible for preparing various account reconciliations and analysis
    • Assist with special projects, as needed

    Minimum Qualifications


    • Five (5) years of Revenue Accounting, specifically related to oil and gas
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related degree
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
    • Strong analytical skills and ability to create and/or improve processes
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced and fluid environment; flexible with the demands of a growing company
    • Ability to meet deadlines and the ability to produce results under tight deadlines
    • Strong analytical and research skills
    • Team oriented individual

    Working Conditions:

    Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer, stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, strength to lift and carry files weighing up to 10 pounds; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.
