- Communicating with customers via phone and/or e-mail
- Consulting with technicians regarding necessary repairs/commissioning and travel schedule
- Answering questions about service outcomes and scheduling
- Receiving inquiries from customers for spare parts and repairs
- Verify all details and parts needed for spare parts and repairs and share with Customer Service for quote creation.
- Managing Consignment agreements and reviewing consignment stock and billing

- Managing and overseeing workflow and schedule
- Calling customers to inform them of service changes or schedules
- Maintaining positive customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction
- Recording all details on services rendered and costs are related to customers and processing this information in our company ERP and CRM data bases
- Coordinating with service technicians about parts ordering and ensuring parts are available when needed
- Coordinating with our after sales team in Germany for technical assistance and spare parts supply
- Generating monthly reports on sales and invoicing
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external partners
- Minimum 2 years' experience in the automotive or heavy equipment field required
- Prior experience working in an office setting
- Familiarity with automotive technology and the automotive industry
- Strong organizational, decision making, and problem-solving skills
- Good written and spoken English language skills, additional foreign language skills a plus
- Confident handling of Microsoft Office Suites (i.e. Excel, Word, etc.) or similar applications
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills

We are looking for a personable service advisor to act as the liaison between our customers, service technicians and sales team in Germany. The service advisor's responsibilities include interacting with customers, listening to requests, scheduling service/commissioning, estimating costs. The service advisor will work with customers to identify their equipment issues or problems, determining spare parts, repair timeline, and working with technicians to convey the customers' requests with accurate repair descriptions.
To be a successful service advisor, you should have excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills. You should also have a strong understanding of automotive or heavy equipment technology.
